Location: Fairfax, VT and surrounding areas Pay: Starting at $20/hour + Performance Bonuses Status: Part-Time to Full-Time potential
About the Role: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team for the upcoming season. This position offers a mix of predictable lawn care (primarily commercial and HOA contracts) and hands-on experience assisting with high-level road and driveway restoration, grading, and drainage repairs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to learn the ropes of heavy equipment operation and site maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
Perform professional lawn maintenance for commercial and HOA properties.
Assist on-site with driveway refreshes, road grading, and excavation projects.
Help with equipment prep and site cleanup.
Transition into snow removal operations during the winter months (for the right candidate).
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable, punctual, and ready to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to work independently on mowing routes while maintaining high standards.
Interest in mechanical work or heavy equipment is a plus.

Does the idea of driving small to medium sized tractors, bucket loaders, backhoes and excavators seem more like fun and less like work? If so, you may just be a great fit for our summer projects. When the snow season closes and mud season begins, that's when we get to work.
We're looking for someone with basic knowledge of operating medium size equipment but willing to learn our techniques and follow our simple rules for safe operation.

Repairing old or installing whole new driveways has a lot of moving parts. We're looking for new employees to assist us with light raking, shoveling and spotting areas in need of extra material. Experience with general landscaping is a plus however is not required. We operate in a safe manner and follow all child labor laws. Must be 16 years old or older to apply. May require an age verification to be on file with our company. Direct deposit is the preferred paycheck method however weekly paychecks can be provided for employees under the age of 18. As a bonus, meals are provided when a work day exceeds 4 hours!
This is a great way to start learning a new skill! This job may be able to continue through the winter for our snow removal services too!

Jay's Snow Plowing is looking for a plow truck driver for residential and light commercial plowing. Starting pay of $25 - $35 per hour depending on experience and performance. Want more? How about performance based bonuses, weekly paychecks, paid meals and use of company trucks for your personal driveway or Mom and Dad? If you have two or more years of experience plowing, ability to plow to our company standards, a clean driving record and be reliable for every storm then we want to hear from you.

As we grow, so do our employees. We are always looking for equipment operators, light and medium duty truck drivers and skilled laborers to assist in our driveway projects. Ability to competently back up a trailer is a huge plus. Jobs vary from grading to full design and installation of new driveways. Message us for details and questions.
